House of Padel: Reviews
Negative experience: Paid €60/h for a 5m high court where you cant even lob what a joke
Negative experience: With the new update to their own app, I don't think I'll ever go back. It's very expensive, and PlayTomic worked fine. It's a shame to move just for money.
Negative experience: Nice facility but very expensive
Fantastic experience: Great indoor Padel courts. Nice staff member looking after us (it was her first day). Good coffee and racket rental available (€7).
Fantastic experience: Great spot and staff are very attentive. Very far away but the red luas line droop you literally 5min away which is very handy
Positive experience: The installations are very good, but the prices are a bit expensive for the average. In addition if you play casual they kill you with the racket rent, costing 9€ each.
Negative experience: Padel court is good but the pickleball court is very bad. The issue was that the court had no space to serve from. It was literally up against a wall, making it impossible to pick up the ball or even serve properly. This severely impacted the quality of the game and made the court unsafe and unplayable. Additionally, the net was not properly tied, and the surface was slippery, which further compounded the problem. And they charge 25 euros per hour which I find is completely unreasonable. On top of that, the 10-euro equipment rental fee felt like an unfair additional charge for an experience that was far below expectations.
Fantastic experience: Went here for a tram building night. Both of the team members who looked after us were amazing. Nice facility as well
Fantastic experience: Un trato excelente de todos los trabajadores y las mejores pistas de pádel de Dublín. Estoy encantado con House of Padel. Muy recomendable!!
Fantastic experience: Such a little hidden Gem in Cookstown!! Really happy to have them next door to my job…I now go every morning ! Delicious coffee and great selection of treats and smoothies, açai bowls etc they have a great seating area and the most wonderful Hostess Jamyle be sure to get in early for the fresh croissants
Fantastic experience: Great pickleball experience here. Lovely staff. Court a little together at either end but still fun! Will play again!
Fantastic experience: House of Padel (HOP) is exceptional. I’m still new to Padel, but here up to 5 times a week. Facilities are excellent. 4 state of the art luxury indoor courts. 2 more courts coming outdoors. Pickleball. Ice bath plunge pool available. Loyly Sauna are inside the facilities. Only hear good things about Loyly sauna :) Everyone is so welcoming. Owner is a good guy, building something special. Coaches are next level pro’s, but provide coaching to beginners. There are Socials at the weekend where 16 players play 8 games for 15 mins, different partners and games throughout the social. There are leagues too, coaching for kids. Coffee bar, facilities to record your best shot by pushing a button by the court and then you can watch back on the Push it App. House of Padel club is on the Playtomic app like all the best clubs and you can build your rating up and join games. Playtomic is across the world . There’s a WhatsApp group in HOP too where games are cross posted from Playtomic! The community spirit is extraordinary. Strongly recommend you try HOP. Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Switched from tennis’ Best place to play in Dublin.. I’m looking forward to their expansion in time. Good business model. Courts are pretty good value. I’m going to continue to work hard, play hard at HOP. I’ll get better as I know I can.See you there. Aidan O’C
Negative experience: Rip off is the only way to describe it. We paid 58€ for a court then on arrival we had to pay an extra 24€ for two paddles. unfriendly staff and dirty premises avoid like the plague.
Fantastic experience: Great fun
Fantastic experience: Great facility and staff. 4 indoor courts pickleball court and sauna.
Fantastic experience: Phenomenon customer service as always from Iker & the Açai was tasty!
Fantastic experience: Iqer made me the best acai bowl ever. I love the sauna here.
Fantastic experience: Great vibe and really nice people working there. Really good açai
Positive experience: Giving it a 3 because the Padel facilities were really nice and the staff was kind. The problem was that went there to play pickleball and paid €25 for an hour (not to mention about €110 for round trip Ubers to get to the facility from our hotel), but the pickleball court was unplayable. It was tucked into an unusable space where you couldn’t stand behind the line to serve without hitting the brick wall behind you. The net was a portable setup that was not anywhere near regulation height. We left after 30 minutes of just volleying. When we discussed this with staff, they offered to allow us to use the cold plunge and sauna facilities, but we were on vacation and didn’t have the right items with us nor could we return on a different day because we had left the country. So the pickleball court gets zero stars from us but the rest of the facility earned a few back. We’ll maybe padel next time! If you’re looking online for an indoor pickleball facility in Dublin, we don’t recommend this one unless they move the court.
Fantastic experience: Buenas pistas y buen personal sobre todo Iker
Fantastic experience: Love this place! Only new to the game but always book these courts to play
Fantastic experience: Great facilities - love this place!!!
Fantastic experience: Best padel courts in Dublin. And you can even enjoy a delicious açaí bowl after the game.love it!
Fantastic experience: Love the padel here and açaí on top really makes it!
Fantastic experience: Good courts, good staff, i bought a racket and Iker recommended me the best one, good man.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful courts and superb service. It's the best padel club I've been to in Dublin. It also has very good staff. I'd like to highlight Iker, who's always very pleasant when I go.
Fantastic experience: Very warm welcome and excellent facilities
Fantastic experience: Great açai !
Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to play at House of Padel. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Oh, and the açai bowls this morning were absolutely delicious — a perfect post-game treat :)
Fantastic experience: El mejor club que he conocido!!!!! El staff, la música, las canchas, el café
Fantastic experience: What really sets this place apart is the overall experience. The atmosphere is vibrant yet welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual games and competitive matches. The on-site café is a fantastic addition, offering a comfortable space to relax before or after a match. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, a refreshing drink, or a light snack, it’s the perfect way to unwind.
Fantastic experience: I go for the sauna & cold plunge. Really nice facilities, sauna is usually 100°C and cold plunges at 4°C, perfect for recovery. Staff are super friendly & helpful. Ikerr always greets me with a smile and a fist bump. Lots of parking space too.
Fantastic experience: Very nice
Fantastic experience: Nice spot for a game of padel. coffee dock , sauna , changing rooms. Everything you need is there
Fantastic experience: Best padel club in Ireland so far! Always a pleasure!
Negative experience: Too expensive for courts with such a low ceiling, makes lobbing (a core part of padel) difficult. Don't get me started on €10 for 3 balls.
Fantastic experience: I’m a complete beginner and have been really enjoying my group lessons with Andrés. He’s a very positive and patient coach. The facilities here are great. Very comfortable lounge area and nice changing rooms.
Positive experience: Great place with excellent facilities, but it’s too expensive
Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed our facilities. We strive to provide a premium experience, and our pricing reflects the quality of our courts, amenities, and service. That said, we’re always looking at ways to offer value, such as off-peak discounts and membership options. We’d love to see you back on the court soon!
Negative experience: The pickleba court is away too close to the wall. The net is broken, and it makes the net lower than the normal height. The place is clean though.
Thanks for your feedback! We appreciate you highlighting the cleanliness of our facility. Regarding the pickleball court, we’re aware of the spacing and are looking into possible improvements. As for the net, we’ll have our team check and fix it as soon as possible to ensure it meets the correct height. We value your input and hope to see you back on the court soon!
Positive experience: Objectively has the best courts in Dublin - but the membership system is laughable. Need to reconsider business model
Thanks for your review, Danny! We’re delighted to hear you rate our courts as the best in Dublin—we take great pride in maintaining top-quality facilities. We appreciate your feedback on the membership system and are always looking at ways to improve. If you have specific suggestions, we’d love to hear them. Feel free to reach out—we’re always open to constructive input!
Negative experience: Played Pickleball here today. Court is not fit for purpose. You literally have about 5 inches between the wall and the court on one side and maybe 10 inches on the other side of the court.
Thanks for your feedback. We understand that space is an important factor for pickleball play, and we acknowledge that our current setup has its limitations. While our main focus is on padel, we introduced pickleball to offer more options for players. That said, we’re always looking at ways to improve the experience and will take your comments into consideration. We appreciate you giving it a try and hope to see you again!
Fantastic experience: great facilities amazing coaches
Thanks for the kind words! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed our facilities and coaching team. We look forward to seeing you back on the court soon!
Fantastic experience: Great place, amazing choice for padel, with great courses, amazing hours, next time I'll try the sauna too!
Thanks for the fantastic review! We're thrilled you enjoyed playing padel with us. Definitely give the sauna a try next time—it's the perfect way to relax after a game!
Positive experience: Nice facility, friendly staff, good coffee. The best club in Ireland from a social hangout perspective. Roof a bit low but not a complete dealbreaker. The biggest issue by far is the lighting used to illuminate the courts. It’s very fluorescent and causes you to lose sight of the ball for most overheads. I’d really urge the owners to fit new appropriate lights, as for me it means I only ever play in House of Padel when nothing else is available.
Thanks for your review and for highlighting what you enjoy about House of Padel! We’re really proud of the social atmosphere and our team, so it’s great to hear that feedback.
We appreciate your thoughts on the lighting—it’s something we’re aware of and actively looking into potential improvements. Your input is valuable, and we want to make sure every playing experience is top-notch. Hopefully, we can make changes that will have you choosing House of Padel as your first option in the future!
Positive experience: Good venue, roofs a bit low, price on the high side but understandable as see what they're tryina do, make a social club padel venue which isn't in Ireland yet. Mataius doing the lessons is a beast, best lessons you'll get despite his youth. Highly recommend
Thanks for the great review! We appreciate your understanding of our vision—we're all about creating a top-tier social padel experience that Ireland hasn’t seen before. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the lessons with Mathias—he’s an incredible coach! Hope to see you back on the court soon!
Fantastic experience: Great facility
Fantastic experience: Amazing clean and friendly environment, if you want relax and have coffee or bear after good match it is the place to be, if your looking for good coach Mathias is the one to go for.
Thanks for the awesome review! We're delighted you’re enjoying the clean and friendly atmosphere—whether it's for a great match, a coffee, or even a beer! Totally agree, Mathias is a fantastic coach.
Thanks for your feedback! Glad to hear you’re enjoying the courts. We're continuing to improve our facilities, including the changing rooms, to enhance the overall experience. We understand the concern about balls crossing over and will look into ways to minimize that. Regarding pricing, we strive to provide top-quality courts and a premium experience, but we appreciate the input and always review our offerings. Hope to see you back on the court soon!
Positive experience: Currently the most expensive courts in Dublin. Courts are nice tbf. Also their ‘membership’ makes no sense at all. €40 per month, but you don’t actually get any Padel or real benefits included in that. You get a percentage off bookings, a percentage off saunas. and a booking window open a bit earlier. Need to rethink that business model, it’s a bit silly
Thanks for your feedback! We’re glad you like the courts and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on our membership. The idea behind it is to offer regular players priority access, discounts, and added perks, but we understand it may not suit everyone. We're always reviewing our offerings to ensure they provide real value, so we appreciate the input. If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear them!
Fantastic experience: I had a session with Mathias and he was outstanding. Quickly changed my game for the better and I can’t wait to see it in action. I’ve played in HoP a few times now and it’s great. The people who work there are customer obsessed and it’s awesome. Highly recommend it.
Thanks for the amazing review! We're thrilled to hear Mathias made such a positive impact on your game—he’s a fantastic coach! Delighted that you’re enjoying House of Padel and our team’s dedication to creating a great experience.
Fantastic experience: So far, the best place around Dublin to play Padel. New courts, good lighting and proper "grass", unlike other places around Dublin which are usually swamped or have too much sand. You know what place I'm referring to...
Fantastic experience: Lovely new padel facility in Dublin. 4 indoor courts and a new pickle court. Friendly staff, welcoming and happy to show you where to go. They use the playtomic app, which is so handy for bookings. The pricing is wild in comparison to the other courts I've used. For 90 mins, HOP is €75, while Celbridge (indoor) is €50, and Bushy (outdoor) is €36. ♀️
Fantastic experience: Unbelievable set up. Great place to play
Negative experience: Cool place and good courts but the roof is too low for padel and the price is ridiculous... €75 for 90 mins compared to €36 in Cellbridge (also indoor) and Portmarnock €28. It's too expensive.
Fantastic experience: Great place and great facilities. Thank you
Fantastic experience: Good venue, close to the red line Luas. Helpful staff. Courts in good condition and you can rent paddles there. We will surely be representing Ireland in the next Olympics .
Fantastic experience: gorgeous place! very chill and comfortable.
Fantastic experience: Really cool space to play padel. Love it!!
Fantastic experience: Amazing indoor courts! High quality courts and professors! Love it! And happy to see padel growing up in Ireland!
Fantastic experience: Great indoor padel curts
Fantastic experience: The place is just class, owner and staff are absolute legends. And the best of all, it's indoors.
Fantastic experience: I love the place -- great indoor courts ❤️
Fantastic experience: Great indoor facility !
Fantastic experience: I've only started playing Padel. Lessons at House of Padel are fantastic, really good coaches for all levels. Courts are brand new, top quality. Couldn't recommend it enough, at least give it a go!!
Fantastic experience: High quality padel courts indoors in Dublin finally
Fantastic experience: Lovely indoor padel facility with 4 courts. One of the few in Dublin using Playtomic to help grow your profile.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant facilities! Delighted to finally have an indoor padel court in the area
Fantastic experience: Panoramic courts, high ceilings and great staff make for a great playing environment - delighted to see this open in Dublin
Fantastic experience: Really nice place to hang out and play padel. Courts are the highest quality, plenty of parking and the atmosphere is top. The community is very cool. The only way to play padel is indoors, especially given our rubbish weather. Love playing here.
Fantastic experience: This is a really nice facility. The courts are excellent and every detail has been considered. From the lights to the ceiling height. It’s great to have an indoor option which is highly accessible and close to the M50. Looking forward to many more games epically in the winter when the wind and rain will be more of a factor.
Fantastic experience: House of Padel is brilliant fun with fantastic facilities your made feel very welcome and I love it as I have found my new best hobby! Highly recommend it to everyone even if your a beginner like me
Fantastic experience: Nice courts and amazing vibe
Fantastic experience: Only new to padel & really enjoying the HOP community so far
Fantastic experience: It was my first time trying padel and I loved it! The team is super helpful and very active on instagram, if you have any questions! To book lessons you need to download the app, which is super easy to use!
Fantastic experience: Great facilities and amazing personnel. Unbelievable
Fantastic experience: Unbelievable facilities and great staff!
Fantastic experience: Good courts and Padels, good and smooth customer service. We even arrived late by twenty minutes and we were compensated at the end because there was a free court. Will definitely be back
Fantastic experience: Very good and enjoyable experience. Staff are lovely to work with. Would definitely recommend
Fantastic experience: Great staff, Equipment ready to rent or buy, new modern courts
Fantastic experience: Great space! Team were really good about letting us have an additional 30 mins slot. Will be class once the sauna is in next week!
Fantastic experience: House of Padel is fun and amazing! The people to the environment is incredible. Would highly recommend checking it out if you want something fun to do!
Fantastic experience: Great new padel facility for Dublin. The courts are full size and indoors which makes such a difference with the Irish weather. The owner took time to have a chat with us.
Fantastic experience: Dublin needed this, good quality indoor courts.
Fantastic experience: Excellent Padel Courts at Belgard. Online booking system is handy and you can request to play with other players that have booked in. Would recommend
Fantastic experience: A Game-Changer in Padel: House of Padel Raises the Bar in Ireland! I had the pleasure of being among the first to experience the new House of Padel, and it exceeded my expectations. The courts are top-notch, with amazing surface quality. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional, providing coaching and different services. This facility not only offers a premium playing experience but also fosters a strong community, making it more than just a game. House of Padel truly stands out from all other padel courts that I tried. Give it a try and see for yourself.
